Located beside the Dordogne River in a small hamlet surrounded by vineyards and the Bois Mignon, the Manoir is situated 5 minute’s drive from the bastide town of Ste. Foy le Grande, the winner of France’s best market award in 2014.
We are only 20 minutes from Bergerac international airport, 30 minutes from the TGV station at Libourne, and just over an hour from Bordeaux international airport.
Renowned for its wine and gastronomy, the region is home to many mediaeval villages, châteaux and rolling fields of vines, sunflowers and fruit orchards.
The Manoir is perfectly located to explore the Bordeaux and Bergerac appellations of St Emilion, Pomerol, Bergerac, Montravel, Duras, Pecharmont and Monbazillac. Why not pack a picnic and spend the day exploring the many wine routes, or enjoy lunch or dinner at great local restaurants, from Michelin starred to local family run bistros.
If physical pursuits are more your style, enjoy the day kayaking on the Dordogne, playing a round of golf, fishing for trout, cycling the country lanes or walking the beautiful countryside.
We will be happy to assist with your sight-seeing plans – making reservations or providing full and half-day sightseeing route maps.
